Cole: A Living Legend!
- Natalie will be coming out with accessories galore, from
headbands and handbags to gloves! This news was aired on a really good radio station
(WDASFM) on January 5, 2004. Get your purchasing power
together because here comes Natalie's line of accessories!
- Natalie was a performer at Stevie Wonder's Christmas concert on
or about December 20, 2003. According to
Glen (big Natalie Cole fan), she looked fabulous and proved she is still a force to be
reckoned with! He said that she was introduced by Magic Johnson stating that she could
sing R&B, Jazz, and even Hip Hop if she wanted to. Natalie sang
"Inseparable," "Our Love," "This Will Be," and "I'm
Catching Hell." He said she wore "I'm Catching Hell" out! She ended her set
with "The Christmas Song" and was joined by Stevie Wonder on the harmonica.
- Natalie has recorded a duet with Lynnfield
children's book author and lyricist John Michael Williams for the title track of his
upcoming animated flick "The Easter Egg Escapade." The song is "Crazy For
You."

- The Tribute CD for Patsy Cline will hit stores on September 13, 2003. Natalie is one of the artists featured on

- Hey fans, Natalie's Ask A Woman Who Knows album is up for 4
Grammy nominations! The categories the album is included in are Best Pop
Collaboration with Vocals for "Better Than Anything" with Diana Krall, Best Jazz
Album, Best Instrumental Arrangement, and Best Engineered Album, Nonclassical. Check her
Verve web site out for more info. Don't miss the Grammy Awards on or about February 23, 2003; check your local listings!
- Natalie is in Jet Magazine's January
6, 2003 edition. She is admiring a mock stamp and plaque after the
renaming of a post office for the late great Nat King Cole in the exclusive Hancock Park
neighborhood of Los Angeles.
- The word is out that Natalie is up for an NAACP Image Award in the Jazz
category so let's hope she wins!
- Just a note that Natalie Cole will be appearing on
the Royal Variety Performance For Prince Charles on BBC One on December

- Finally, Natalie appears in Sophisticated Black Hair
Magazine: in the Dec/Jan 2003 edition!
Natalie's hair is always hooked up sharp! I was wondering when she would appear in the
magazine to share some hair styling tips...Natalie's hair stylist for at least the last 15
years has been/is (hair pro) Janet Zeitoun.

will be featured on CNN and Access Hollywood. However, the dates that these shows will air
are not known at this time. Also, she is on her way back to London to promote Ask A
Woman Who Knows which is where her PBS special will also be taped. Diana Krall is a

Cole is on this week's JET. Also, her new album has received high praises from Billboard
and Ebony. Billboard stated that this was her best CD since Unforgettable and Ebony stated

- Natalie got married to Bishop Kenneth Dupree, Pastor of The
Victory Church on October 12, 2001 in Nashville, TN!
Furthermore, there's word that Pastor Dupree is recording a solo Gospel album; however,
details are not available at this time regarding the completion date nor release date.
- She has changed record labels! She is now with
Verve. Her new album is entitled Ask A Woman Who Knows!

- Natalie's album, entitled Snowfall
On The Sahara, is a mixture of R&B, pop, and jazz and is a
celebration of her 25 years in the music business. Natalie Cole: Greatest Hits Volume I
was released on or around November 7, 2000. Natalie
executive produced it. She hand picked the songs herself. There are a few new tunes on the
album. One of the new songs is entitled "Angel On My Shoulder" and the other new
song is entitled "Livin For Love." Check out my Natalie's Greatest Hits Volume I page for a list
of songs on the album, as well as lyrics.
- Her autobiography was released
on November 7, 2000 by
Warner Books and is entitled Angel On My Shoulder. Check out Angel

it with Digby Diehl. Natalie's autobiography debuted at #1 in the Los Angeles Times top

- On April 15, 1999, the Superstar was honored with the
Whitney M. Young, Jr. Award at the Los Angeles Urban League's 26th
Annual Whitney M. Young, Jr. Award Dinner. Natalie served as Honorary

Lena Horne Award was presented to Natalie on September
3 for outstanding career achievements in the field of entertainment at the 5th
Annual Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards! The Awards took place at the Santa Monica Civic
Auditorium.
