My dear Natalie-I am but a child in experience in comparisson to your life, however, as a
young immigrant from Italy I was raised with certain morals and understandings within the
family. I am the youngest and only girl with 3 older brothers and put myse f through
college, I moved out and the girl does not move out till she is married. I moved out and
paid for college by stripping at a club. One night with all my belongings (I was moving
into a new apartment and paying for my last year of school) I fell asleep at the wheel. I
hit a dump truck head on and my car was on fire while I was in it. Two people helped to
pull me out, one was the driver, the other I never found out their identity, in fact the
truck driver insisted there was no one. No sooner di they pull me out did I ask them to
get my purse that had all the money I had made at work and the money I withdrew that day
to pay for school. I asked them to return to a burning car for money! They went back and
retrieved my school bag with all my boo s, but not my purse ( I had bit off the bottom of
my tongue in the accident so it was hard to speak) shortely after their return, my car
exploded. Nothing was left and I was life-flighted to the nearby hospital where I went
through hell. I was released wo days later due to a "miracle" in their words
after the feeling came back in my legs and the internal bleeding just
"stoppped". I hated what I was doing and I asked God why he had taken all that
would help me get out of the club scene to finish my degr e. I was ashamed of what I had
become. I felt I had disgraced all that my parents had sacrificed so that I could have a
better opportunity. I thank you, I thank you ten-fold for the inspiration you are to so
many who struggle with the devil only to fin their own way to do good by themselves and by
others. You truly do have an Angel on your shoulder, as I hope I do too. I am now married
and pursuing my Masters Degree in Italian Renassaince Art, hopefully my thesis will be
published to be used within t e University to teach others. I thank you for your strength
as a social figure to stress the importance of overcoming one's own mistakes, and for
showing everyone that celebrites are not perfect and are not ashamed to admit to such.

Thanks for a great page - Natalie deserves it. She has a strong following in Norway, but I
think I'm her greatest fan here! When I discovered her voice some 20 years ago I was
really taken. And she still has a strong hold on my heart (and my ears!) The be t Xmas
present this year was seeing her live at the Nobelprize concert. She sounded fabulous and
looked stunning. Needless to say what Xmas album is the most played at my house. Keep up

I wasn't sure how the TV movie about Natalie Cole would portray her life, usually TV
movies embellish on the truth...but I was struck to the heart with Natalie's brutal
honesty. Watching her unfold her own story, warts and all, was like listening to people
get up in church and give their testimony on how their lives were before they let Jesus be
in their life. RIGHT ON NATALIE!!!! Give your testimony every chance you get. No matter
what anyone says, critics or otherwise!!!! I cried and laughed along with her. Praise God!
Never give up, girl! The Lord is truly with you every day of your life!

By the grace of God and just for today, Natalie you are truly a MIRACLE. I'm reading your
book now, and I have to tell you that at times I'm afraid to read on (facing feelings)
because I have so much identification with your story. Your book is helping e to look back
over some real GOOD times in my life with my dad as well as my addiction and how far I've
come. I gotta tell you: Life on life's terms can be a bitch but it will never get as bad
as it was for me during my active addiction. On December 19 h I will be celebrating 4
years clean. For that I am GRATEFUL. And you know what they taught us...GRATEFUL ADDICTS
DO NOT USE. NO MATTER WHAT! Thank you Natalie for sharing your experience, strength and

Your TV movie of 12/10/00 was an inspiration to me and your message of Hope can through
loud and clear. I am a recovering addict and alcoholic. In 1995, as a direct result of my
addiction, I lost everything...my family, my material possessions, and my l cense to
practice law. It was only when I turned my will and my life over to the care of God (Jesus
Christ) that I was able to begin my journey in recovery. Sobriety is Good. Today I have

along,please. Dear Miss Cole, I am a middle aged man that has gone through hell with
addiction and mental illness. I'm laughing to myself for a moment because this sounds like
a bad letter. In actuality, when I was at my lowest, when I "hit bottom", I
remembered how much my mother loved your father's music....that kept me going....I kept
that in my mind. Years later when I still hadn't got what recovery was about, I heard your
posthumus rendition of "Unfergettable", I dont mean to put too fine a point on
it, but that song of your's and your father's...your duet made me cry and realise

Living. However, when I search the titles on that album there is no such song listed. Was

Holiday Inn. You were the featured singer, for this band. I worked for Unisys and was in
Connecticut doing some work for Pitney Bowes. I came through the lobby of the hotel, one
morning and you were having coffee or tea? Anyhow you were very gracious to me. My name is
